City Administrator
ROGER NELSON, CLYDE CITY ADMINISTRATOR
Roger Nelson has been Clyde’s City Administrator since September 2009. Roger has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas Wesleyan College and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Kansas. Prior to coming to Clyde, Roger served as the Assistant to the City Manager (1989-92) and then City Manager (1992-94) of Warrensburg, Missouri and as the Assistant City Manager (1994-97) and then City Manager (1997-2005) of Grapevine, Texas. Roger and his family took a break from city management from 2005 to 2009 and operated a small family farm in Coleman County, Texas.
