City Administrator
KEITH SELMAN, CLYDE CITY ADMINISTRATOR
Keith Selman was born in Raleigh, North Carolina while his father was lecturing at NC State University. Steering from a family tradition steeped in agriculture, Keith obtained a Bachelor of Science in the field of Geography from the Univerisity of South Alabama and a Masters in City and Regional Planning from Clemson University.
After finishing his studies, which included a semester of urban design in Genoa, Italy, he applied his skills in the Peace Corps in the Soloman Islands where he advised provincial leaders on development issues.
For twenty years, Keith served the City of Laredo in the Planning Department with fifteen years as the Planning and MPO Director. He is a member of the American Planning Association, the American Institute of Certified Planners, and the Texas City Managers Association.
Keith and his wife Monica moved to Clyde in 2012 and have three grown children.
The City Administrator's office is located inside of City Hall at 222 Oak Street.
